How do I get my launch on the billboard?

The billboard is a paid leaderboard separate from votes. Contribute in US dollars to rank by money, not popularity.

Updated

Your own race on the billboard

The billboard is a leaderboard at /leaderboards/billboard. It ranks listings by the money their owners have put in—not by votes. It's labelled as paid ranking, so everyone knows the score.

How to join the podium

Adding it from your account needs a live listing. Head to /account/listings, pick "Upgrades and extras" next to your launch, then enter your contribution under Billboard. You choose the amount in US dollars. The minimum is $5. You can also add a contribution when you submit your listing.

It all adds up

Each contribution you make stacks on top of what you've already put in. The board orders listings by total contributed. Once you're on it, you stay on it.

Votes stay votes

The billboard is its own thing. It never touches community votes, Launch of the Week, verification, Domain Rating or any other ranking. Each system is labelled so there's no confusion. Promo codes don't reduce your billboard contribution either.

A followed link, for life

A billboard contribution puts a link to your website on /leaderboards/billboard, using your company name. It is followed, with no nofollow on it, and it stays for life, even after others overtake you. It is taken away only if the listing is taken down for breaking our rules or the contribution is refunded.

Questions people ask

Can I add to my billboard ranking later?
Yes. Sign in to /account/listings, choose "Upgrades and extras" and add another contribution. It stacks on your total.
Does the billboard affect my votes or Launch of the Week chances?
No. The billboard is separate. Community votes and Launch of the Week are decided by your audience, not by money.
What's the minimum I can contribute?
$5 in US dollars.
Is my website linked from the billboard?
Yes, a followed one, to your own website. It stays for life; only a take-down for breaking the rules or a refund removes it.
