How does the spaced repetition work?
Every word gets its own review schedule. Words spelled correctly come back the next day, then in three days, then at widening gaps. If a child makes a mistake, that word comes back the next day to try again.
How does Spelling.Live track progress against the National Curriculum?
Every word a child spells is automatically matched to spelling rules in the National Curriculum for England. A rule is marked Secure once the child has spelled at least 3 different words using it, written from memory with no help, on at least 2 different days, with no slip in the past six weeks.
